A native of Virginia Beach, Linda Lawless began her professional career in 1996 as a public school teacher in Warrenton, VA. where she worked for twelve years. During her last three years of teaching she entered graduate school at George Mason University to pursue a master's degree in Community Agency Counseling. Upon completing her degree in 2008 Linda transitioned into behavioral health counseling for the Community Services Board near Warrenton, VA. from 2008-2015. She also received a post-master’s certificate in Marriage & Family Therapy from Virginia Tech in 2011.
Linda currently serves as a private practitioner working in Virginia Beach, VA. with a broad spectrum of clients. Her areas of expertise include working with clients who have experienced recent or past trauma, childhood abuse, depression, anxiety and PTSD. She is certified in level 1 and level 2 of Lifespan Integration therapy. Her therapeutic approach is to provide support and practical feedback to help clients effectively address personal life challenges. With compassion and understanding, Linda works with individuals and couples to help them build on their strengths and attain the personal growth they are committed to accomplishing.
